The shower experience left something to be desired—noisy, with poor water pressure and slow heating. The room decor leaned heavily towards pine, giving it a guesthouse feel rather than a hotel vibe, which might not suit everyone's taste. the cramped shower cubicle limited space for comfort, and the TV setup was less than ideal, partly hanging off the wall. Finally, a lack of bath towels in the room was another minor inconvenience that could be improved.

i had a fab stay at the abbey hotel. the room was super spacious n comfy, slept like a baby every night. breakfast was delicious n the staff were really friendly, like they actually cared! the location was solid too, just a short walk to the town center. they even got a car charger which was a nice touch!

The kettle with tea, coffee, and biscuits was a lovely touch! The location was perfect for getting around, making my solo trip even better. I loved having access to a microwave and fridge to prep snacks, too. A helpful balcony overlooking a garden added a nice touch for relaxation.
